Parking
Car parking is by valet. Normally $8 for the day. Special YP rate of $2 for the day.
Due to the high volume of people, please car pool as much as possible. This will also help with making the line shorter when you come to the event. Also, the earlier you come, the shorter the line will be.
We strongly suggest coming early to the event, to avoid the traffic. If you try to arrive at the event an hour before it starts (i.e. arrive around 11am), you can sit out at the tiki bar at the main pool and have a drink before the event starts.
If the line gets ridiculously long, you might want to park on the side of summerlin (straight in, not parallel, to allow for more cars), or on the other side by the beach, and just walk to the sign on Punta Rassa road. The resort will be running trolleys back and forth from the edge of their property (the sign) to the resort.

Come help us save Kowiachobee Animal Preserve a Non-Profit 501c(3) Registered Charity. An Educational and Hands On Learning Facility in Southwest Florida. Collier Code enforcement has confirmed Kowiachobee's compliance to ordinance for 11 years. The 12th year being this year they have re-interpreted the existing ordinance to find them in violation.
Collier County is trying to stop YOU, from going out to the preserve to see the animals. By doing so, they have just eliminated the majority of the donations to the preserve that pay for day-to-day operations.
Help us get Collier County Code Enforcement to do their jobs correctly, and help us with donations to keep the preserve alive until we can get this mistake corrected.

Young Professionals www.YPFL.com
Young Professionals was created out of a need in the community for the younger professionals in the area to be able to network on a business level with people closer to their own age.
With a large number of new young professionals moving to the area each year, many local companies were having a problem with retention. If a new employee did not become rooted to the community within three to four months of arrival, they would typically return north. YP realized that attrition of young employees was an expensive problem for companies who had invested training and other resources in these new employees. As a result, general social events like boating and beach events, dinner and movie events, biking and rollerblading outings, and trips to local vacation spots like Key West and South Beach were added to tie these companies employees to the area, and allow them to establish their new location as their true home. A whole sports division consisting of softball teams from beginner to advanced, co-ed and single gender teams, were added, as well as kick ball and soccer teams, a tennis league at one point, and other teams. YP has run, and participates in golf tournaments, and our sister organizations run other events such as dodge ball and corn hole tournaments. We also tie in with events that other social groups run, such as beach parties, and charity events.
The organization also helps potential young leaders by offering educational speakers, helping YP members meet local leaders, encouraging involvement in leadership programs and board positions with local charities, and when they run for office, supporting our young leaders in obtaining those positions.
Young Professionals of Southwest Florida was the first independent YP group in the state, holding its first event in March of 2002. It and its leader, Dan Sinclair, launched the Naples YP in November 2003 with the help of Chad Phipps, Brandi Hanson, and a small board of directors. It also helped groups get started in many of the major cities in Florida. Young Professionals Inc. focuses on Lee County Florida, and works closely with the other YP groups in the area YP Naples, Charlotte County YP (CCYP), and the all new Hendry County YP.
The YP 10th Anniversary Celebration on June 16, 2012 to benefit the Kowiachobee Animal Preserve is a join event involving YP Lee County / Fort Myers, YP Naples, CCYP and Hendry County YP.
